Join this half-day safari, where you will spend half your journey in an off-road vehicle to Fajã dos Padres. The open-roof of the jeep will give you complete visibility of the breath-taking environment around you. Starting our tour from a viewpoint overlooking Funchal bay we drive uphill to Boca dos Namorados where you will be able to see the famous village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley) at nearly 1000 meters high above sea level. Heading higher to Boca da Corrida through a spectacular off road, where at an elevation of about 1200 meters you may be amazed by the main volcanic complex and highest mountains of the island. From there we drive downhill to Jardim da Serra, place known by its cherry production and where we do a quick stop for a portugues coffee, natural tea or the traditional local drink Poncha freshly made by a local. Continuing to Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the World with 589 meters better known for its renovated viewpoint with suspended glass floor. Later we will finish our tour at the warm and traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos.

This full day tour gives you the opportunity to see artisans at work, a town famous for its cottages and to enjoy picture perfect scenery. Visiting Camacha, Pico do Ariero, Ribeiro Frio, Portela and Santana, this tour will be the highlight of any visit to Madeira.
