Understand how Birmingham developed and see that many of today’s ways of working have deep roots in our past. A real investigation into today's city in the context of the history of this centre of the industrial revolution now facing up to the future in a determined way. In particular we explore:
• Earlier times – medieval origins
• From Georgian entrepreneurs to Victorian idealists
• Jewellery Quarter
• Canal city
• An artistic side
• Today's city developing for the future.
Content is loosely based on the new tourist guide Discovering Birmingham.
This 1 3/4 hour walking tour gives a great introduction to the city and will be of interest equally to local people and visitors alike.

Museum and Art Gallery, St Philip’s Square, the Bullring & St Martins, Grand Central and plenty of surprises.Our walk takes us to some of the city’s most historic buildings. We appreciate English Baroque, Victorian Gothic, Brutalist 1960s and present-day architectural styles. We gain an understanding of the city’s origins, and hear what is around the corner in this city of continuous change.

Zombie Scavengers leads you into the city to collect supplies to survive during this interactive scavenger game.
With the whole world in chaos and zombies outnumbering the living 10 to 1, small colonies of the living are doing all they can to survive. Using your smartphone, your team will be tasked with scavenging the city for food, supplies, weapons, and shelter. The more things you find, the more points you get and the more likely you are to survive. Along the way, you will be asked to do a challenge or answer a trivia question in order to be rewarded virtual weapons to ward off the zombies. The area is crawling with relentless zombies, and rival colonies are moving in. If you get too relaxed, rival colonies will take what you worked hard to find. The goal is to find all of the items in hopes that you will survive the zombie apocalypse.

Foodies Festival offers a fun day out for all the family. Foodies Festival, the UK’s largest celebration of food & drink where visitors can feast on a vast array of culinary activities, making Foodies Festival the social event of the summer. We have top chefs cooking in the Chef’s Theatre; wine, beer, and cocktails in the Drink’s Theatre, a brand new Tasting Theatre, a BBQ Arena, a live entertainment stage and kids can learn to cook too in the Children’s Cookery Theatre.

Some of our animals are endangered in the wild and we play an important role their species’ conservation By participating in endangered species breeding programmes. You can help us by sponsoring an animal.

This is the introduction and exploration of our dark and interesting history and covers many of the main haunted and unusual sights downtown. We begin with the tales of the founding of our city as a rough and tumble mine and mill town, and continue through on with missing children, spiteful murders, and discovered corpses.  We hear the tales of two of our haunted hotels, and four of the five original churches of the city.  There is then the tale of murders most sad, which has led to the legends of the “Mermaid of the Lake” and the major riot that followed. Then continuing through the darkness, with the shadowy footsteps that follow…to the discovery of a hidden cemetery or two…

Turn Birmingham into a game while partaking on a 2-hour Walking Adventure. Your smartphone will act as your guide, while you solve clues and complete challenges around the city. Entry price is per team.

We will not shy away from shining a light on a rather ugly chapter in our cities history…and that is what it is. History. It will be presented as such and not glossed over with a bunch of politically correct language. There will be discussions of what hate and misunderstanding led to. There will be uttered what is today considered to be offensive words and phrases, but were the everyday language of both sides of the conflict at that time. Such words will be tempered and moderated, and be in context of history, but they will be there. We will not cross the “N word” line.
We will walk in the steps of the marchers and protesters. The steps of the Reverends Fred Shuttlesworth and Martin Luther King, Jr. The steps of the oppressed and the oppressors.
