We will begin our tour together in the heart of the ancient city between the two remaining medieval gates of Valencia. The city formerly had 12 gates, but only a few remain, still rich with interesting secrets. We will meet at Plaça dels Furs (Charters Square) and take a look inisde the Torres de Serranos, which used to be one of the main gates into Valencia during the 14th century. After admiring the ancient Gothic styled gate, we will walk down Carrer de Serranos and stop to sample a few drinks in an oenotheque. Here, we will taste a local and vintage Bobal red wine as well as a regional liquor called Mistela. Each drink will be paired with a tapa to complement the aromas and flavors of the drinks.

Taste local wines and tapas in Valencia! Our expert in wines will guide you through the city to urban wine/gourmet shop for the first part of the wine tasting with snacks. Afterwards, you will enjoy more Valencian wines & tapas in the heart of the Old Town in a local tavern where the tour ends. 4 different wines from the region of Valencia (may include wines from IGP Castellon, D.O.
