This is a 4-hour small-group tour departing from Brasov city center, driving through the wonderful Transylvanian Alps, the southern Carpathian Mountains. Join us for a 5 hour trip to the Buffalo Reserve in Vama Buzaului. See the majestic giants of the Carpathians, then the interesting Urlatoarea Waterfalls, where crystal clear water erupts from the guts of the Ciucas Mountains and finish the tour with a delicious authentic bulz (polenta ball filled with cheese) made by the locals. Romanian Carpathians hosts ~60% (approx. 5,500 bears) of the Brown Bear population from Europe. We offer you the opportunity to see and admire the brown bears in their own habitat, from a specially designed observation hide deep in the Tranislvania forest.

The forest rangers will take you deep in the forest, on a gravel road, you will continue walking for a few hundred meters to the hide where you will wait quietly for wildlife. There are high chances (statistically more then 85% chances) to spot the Carpathian Brown Bear, sometimes a female with cobs, sometimes a larger male bear, but you can also spot the wildboar, roe deer and red dear, wolves, linx and even some game birds

Visit the famous Bran Castle which initially served as military defense fortification, then as customs point and ultimately as one of the summer residences of the Romanian royal family. It's a medieval castle with a royal touch, that's also linked to the Dracula legend. Besides touring the castle you also get free time for souvenirs in the bazaar at the footsteps of the landmark.
Before we visit the Rasnov fortress we perform a brief stop at a local Palinca distillery. Here you can taste the traditional Romanian spirits made out of plumbs, apricots, cherries, pears and more. You will witness the manufacturing process and get the chance to buy some for take away.
The Rasnov citadel is a peasant fortress with a spectacular view and plenty of souvenirs. A private guided tour of the landmark is provided by your guide.

Discover three of the most beautiful canyons near Brașov. Take an easy walk to the Seven Ladders Canyon and climb the seven stairs through one of the most spectacular canyons in Romania. Continue your journey to Rasnoavei Gorges, with its massive cliffs that are ascending high into the sky. We will then continue to your final stop: Zarnesti Gorges, with a lenght of almost 2 kilometers and height between 100 and 200 meters. Here, temperatures drop with a few degress because the sun hardly gets in the gorge. After an easy hike through the gorges you will return to the car and get back to Brasov.
