The historic roman and medieval vestiges are easy to find. Contiguous to the city you can find the sanctuary of Bom Jesus, famous for it´s staircase, natural surroundings and unique elevator. Not far from there, you can also enjoy the views of the Sameiro sanctuary.

Colour, movement, life and culture: this is the city of Barcelos. It´s ancient history, sublime landscape, traditions and the famous Galo of Barcelos´s legend make this city a must-visit point. The "Princess of Lima", Viana do Castelo, gives you the opportunity to get lost in the historic center and marvel you with the traditions of Minho, during the visit to the Costume Museum. At the river side of Lima we can visit the Ship-Hospital Gil Eannes. The tour ends with marvelous views at the top of Mount Santa Luzia.
