Traveling by car to the fjords of Western Norway is one of the best ways to enjoy the Norwegian nature and appreciate the beauty of the fjords and waterfalls in a short period of time.

The trip is designed for the whole day, leaving from Oslo early in the morning and returning late at night. During the day you will take part of Bergen Railway by train from Geilo to Myrdal, then board the world famous Flam Railway and cruise along the two branches of the longest and deepest fjords in Norway – Sognefjord. One of them, Nærøyfjord, was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2005.

Choice of luxury vehicle according to number of people in your group. You have the car and the guide at your disposal all day to drive you around and accompany you on a guided walk. Oslo City Center is quite small, and thus perfect for a walk.

However, a majority of the city’s highlights are on the outskirts of Oslo, such as the great Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Holmenkollen ski- and recreation area (with the best panorama view of the city!). There is also the "museum peninsula" of Bygdøy, just across the bay, where you will find the Viking Ship Museum, the open-air Folk Museum, the Fram (Polar) Museum, the Maritime Museum and the Kon-Tiki raft expedition Museum.  There are nice restaurants up in the hills or by the fjord for a lunch and/or dinner break We'd gladly recommend one..
