We offer 1.5 hour introduction lessons in cross-country skiing (Nordic skiing) for skiers of all ages and abilities in classic technique. Cross Country Skiing is divided into two techniques or styles: Classic (a.k.a. Diagonal Stride) where the skier glides straight-ahead in parallel tracks and Skate (a.k.a. Freestyle) which involves a motion similar to ice-skating or roller-blading. For those who want to learn good skiing basics and to get more confidence on skis, we recommend to take 2-3 ski lessons. All our ski guides are passionate skiers with long experience in cross-country skiing.

You will hear the spooky stories about the legendary criminals and ghosts, historical myths and legends of the city, and some funny stories about the new and old Norwegian traditions. The route of this 2.5-hours walk allows you to see all the main attractions of the very center of Norwegian capital. You'll start at the City Hall, visit Akershus fortress, walk in the oldest part of the 17th century city Kvadraturen and finish on the main street Karl Johan where you will see the Parliament, the National Theater, the University, the Royal Palace and the Grand Café.

Enjoy a ful day tour in and around Oslo. Visit Oslo Opera House with a rooftop view of the city and the fjord. Experience the fantastic city view for the hillside at Ekeberg, above the city. Drive through the scenic nature and forest along the fjord. After a 30 minute drive you board a ferry to the Island and fortress Oscarsborg. Here you have the opportunity to learn the rich history of the fortress, especially the events that took place in the start of  WWII. The nature on the island is also beautiful. After a light lunch, you return on the ferry and drive through the narrow streets and visit the town of Drøbak. The home of the Norwegian Santa Claus. In the afternoon you return to Oslo center.

If you going to have a half-day sightseeing, I would recommend you to have this City Tour by foot for 3 hours, showing the city center, i.e. Aker Brygge, the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the University, the main streets, etc.  You will also visit a medieval Fortress Akershus / Vigeland Sculpture Park.
