Are you an ebike lover and do you want to have fun on unique dirt roads? This is the tour for you! Near Alba, we will ride on dirt roads that are moderately challenging but highly suggestive, having a professional available who will explain your surroundings in a to be able to better appreciate this wonderful wine-growing region.
The route is about 44 kilometers long with a difference in height of 960 meters, therefore suitable for trained cyclists.

We will discover the main natural resources of this magnificent land and admire the castles and medieval villages, in a setting that will take us back in time.

The off-road route is of medium-difficult level, with stretches of dirt where medium technical skills are required. These are not "downhill" routes, therefore nothing extreme and dangerous, but authorized paths between vineyards with a slope of up to 40% . In case of difficulty in tackling the parts on dirt roads, the guide will opt for a safer route for everyone.

What few people know, however, is that the aperitivo as we know it today was born right here!

So, what better experience to get to know the local tradition than to immerse yourself in an aperitivo tour?

Let yourself be charmed by the famous wines of the area, the delicious and aromatic vermouth (the oldest aperitif drink!) and why not, even a Piedmontese craft beer. You won’t leave with an empty belly because next to the most famous drinks, you can also eat the best aperitivo dishes.

We will start our day in the historical center of Neive, a small medieval hilltop town. One of the towns of the Barbaresco wine area and one of Italy’s top 5 most beautiful hilltop villages. We will sit down in a caffè with a warm beverage of your choice and will go over the area with the local maps to give a better idea of the regions, the grapes, the winemaking process, and what we will be tasting throughout the day. From there we will take a beautiful drive through the the hilly roadways that are covered in vines that brings us to our first winery stop, where we will see the wine making process, talk about some family history, and a taste of some of the family’s most precious wines. After we will stop in a medieval village for lunch at a small local spot, before heading to our second winery visit. We will then after, head back to our meeting point where you will be free to enjoy an aperitivo or dinner after the tour. The start time is at 9.30 and the end time is at 17.00

The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
