We booked a private tour for six. Eigo was our tour guide and we could not have been more pleased. He was so knowledgeable and pleasant. We saw everything we had planned to see. He timed it so we got to see the geyser explode. We had ample time to see each venue. Our lunch was a wonderful unique experience. We ate in a tomato greenhouse restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a fabulous experience. Our guide, John, was wonderful. We saw the sights on our terms and in a super comfortable vehicle. A surprise highlight was lunch at a tomato greenhouse. Can't recommend highly enough! We loved it. All ages.

This was an excellent way to see a lot in one day at one's own pace. John from Private Hire Iceland, the sub-contractor, was excellent. He really knew his country and was very proud of it.

Tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable about pretty much everything 'Icelandic' - in addition to the expected attractions and due to timings, we were also able to visit a second waterfall where we were the ONLY TWO people there, plus a wonderful lunch in a Tomato Greenhouse yes, really - food was excellent, tour was excellent and would have no hesitation in recommending this Tour and John. Many thanks for making the day so perfect.

Frederick was our guide and was wonderful. We really enjoyed having the freedom to go where he recommended and then he stopped a couple places so we could buy some of the Icelandic specialties he had told us about. He also, called and got us reservations for dinner while we viewed the waterfall. Couldn't have been better!

Our drive turned out to be the owner of the company. He was excellent and we enjoyed the day. Private car and driver is the only way to go. Highly recommend in Reykjavik.

Such a fun time on the Golden Circle tour! I do not recommend going your first day in Iceland as there is lots of driving that could make you sleepy. Our tour guide, Fredrik was amazing! Loved him! Told us all about trolls, fairies and elves, stopped at amazing places for pictures, gave us all the ins and outs of the area. Make sure you ask for him!

We had a private tour of the Golden Triangle, and it was quite good. We left at 9:00 AM, ahead of the tour busses and other major traffic.
Excellent views of waterfalls and geysers.

It was nice to have a private tour with a person who is from the country. His English was very good, and he was able to answer all questions we had about where we went and the country. After he got to know us he made a few stops based on our interests. We had lunch at the greenhouse that grows the tomatoes and it was very good. Very beautiful place.

Not much off a tour - it is just like providing private transportation to each attraction.

Our only complaint about this experience is that our driver was very reserved. He was professional and timely, but offered little information. We, at times, asked questions to obtain additional information, but received minimal feedback. If someone is looking to be driven to all the sites without wanting to hear about history et al this is a very well run excursion. However, if you are comfortable renting a car with GPS, you would easily have a similar experience and save considerable money.
