After collecting your luggage and exiting the customs check, follow directions for the pick-up area for scheduled buses, which is on the other end of the glass-covered walkway outside the arrivals hall. Uniformed staff inside the terminal can assist if you have any questions or if you are unsure of where to go. Bus will depart according to schedule and head directly to Reykjavik City.
During the 45 minute drive to Reykjavik you can either relax in our modern and comfortable coaches or make use of the free WiFi on board. The destination of the bus is at Skarfabakki Bus terminal, but a conveniently located city center drop-off is offered for no extra charge.
This convenient and reliable service is available daily all year round, with frequent departures in connection to scheduled passenger flights through Keflavik International Airport (KEF). The coaches are located right outside the arrivals terminal and depart according to a fixed schedule. From the airport, the coaches go directly to our main terminal in Reykjavik City which is located in Skarfabakki, and a complimentary drop-off is also offered in the city center by Safnahúsið / Culture house (bus stop 6).

- Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 2 standard suitcases and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable
- Child and youth rates apply only when accompanied by an adult, and for maximum 2 children/youths per each adult.
- Infant seats are available on request if advised at time of booking

Bus goes to the Gray Line Bus terminal in Skarfabakki, Skarfagardar in Reykjavik. You can also be dropped off in Reykjavik City Center for no extra charge, the City Center drop off point is at Bus stop 6 - Safnahúsið / Culture House.

When looking for travel from the airport to the city, close to our hotel the costs varied. I saw this offer and booked one way just in case it was awful. However, upon arrival we were greeted by a representative who directed us to our Gray Line bus, which was very nice and comfortable. The service was efficient, even the transfer to another bus which takes you to your hotel or bus stop.Do speak with your hotel in advance to ensure you know which bus stop is the closest. We were in the city so bus stop 10 was the closest however, this line does not stop there. It stops at 8 or 6. Make sure you complete the correct box at time of booking. We quickly booked our return journey using this service.Excellent overall!
