Year 1770: King Kahekili- the last king of Maui- leapt from Kaundou, a 63-foot ( 19-metre) cliff and entered the water without causing a splash. 
For his feats of flying from the cliffs he got the nickname “birdman”. 
He also made his warriors jump from cliffs to prove their courage and loyalty.

We visit a great spot. We do 2 dives. The first is a wreck dive, and the 2nd is a dive in an old quarry. Our surface interval will take place on the shore, and there we relax with a small snack and coffee.
