The day dedicated to "Renaissance" starts with a visit of Amboise Castle, where King Francis 1st welcomed Leonardo Da Vinci at the end of his life. After lunch (included), you leave for Chenonceau Castle and the day finishes with a visit of Chambord.

Fly above the Fontainebleau Forest on a hot-air balloon ride that provides aerial views of the French countryside outside of Paris. During a morning or evening flight, look down on rivers, villages, and the vast forest, which was once the hunting ground of French kings, home to wild boar, deer, and pheasant. The ride takes place either just after sunrise or at the end of the day, when winds are calm and the air is cool and stable. The total adventure is about three hours, including balloon inflation, a 1-hour flight, a traditional toast upon landing, and return to the start point. The last stop will be L’epicerie, a fine specialty spice shop, which Aurore frequents on a regular basis.

Aurore lives in a charming, sun-filled, Parisian apartment in the 7th arrondissement, only a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. You'll join her in her kitchen to learn to cook a modern fusion French meal. Aurore is born and raised in Paris but loves adding a little twists from her diverse background (Indian, Italian, Vietnamese and Ukrainian) on classic French dishes. You might learn to prepare dishes like ballotine (filo sheet stuffed with goat cheese, mint and honey), stuffed chicken or pork a la dijonnaise - all from scratch.
