(1320). And of course, mysterious Bone Church in Sedlec, a unique ossuary decorated with more than 40,000 human bones

This nice half-day trip starts in Prague in the morning hours. After a journey of about an hour in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus with water on board and wi-fi available, we will arrive at the Terezín Memorial.

After arrival we will visit the concentration camp in the Small Fortress, which more than 90,000 people went through during World War II and where about 2800 died.

Later we will move to the Jewish Ghetto, located on the other side of the river, where more than 150,000 people were sent and more than 33,000 died. We will also visit the Ghetto Museum, with its reminders of the days of horror and suffering that happened there, but we will also see the stories of friendship, courage, and bravery which were also part of living there in those times.

After a three-course tasting lunch in a unique cosy restaurant we will return to Prague.

After a journey of about 55 minutes we will arrive at Konopiště, one of the most exciting Czech chateaux, established in 1280.

This stunning chateau is well known as a residence of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, whose assassination in Sarajevo triggered World War I. We will visit the residential rooms of Franz Ferdinand, the huge collection of armour and mediaeval weapons, the shooting gallery, and the St.George collection museum.

The next stop will be an excursion to the one of the most famous Czech brewery, located in the small town of Velké Popovice, since 1874 the home of the famous Velkopopovický Kozel beer, with tasting of delicious beers in the brewery cellars and a nice three-course lunch in local brewery restaurant.

Follow the traces of Operation Anthropoid in Prague and visit some of the actual locations on this 3hour tour. Your guide will give you insight and details as you enter the crypt where the paratroopers fought for their lives, find the curve where Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated, and visit the remains and meadows where the village of Lidice used to stand before it was burned down by the Nazis.

Important: Until the end of April the glasswork is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Those days the excursion is replaced by a visit to the historical brewery with tasting local beers. Sundays are the factory closed all year long.
