Built in 1867, with its unique location and the remarkable Italian Renaissance style, Kursalon counts to one of

the most exclusive buildings in Vienna. The Strauss brothers celebrated their greatest successes in this building

On 15th of February 2020, Kursalon will again open its doors for the traditional Johann Strauss Ball. This

Chamber music concert performed by the "Mozart Ensemble"- Piano Trio. As a piano trio, the Mozart Ensemble plays the most famous works written by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin and many other famous composers. Piano works, solo pieces for violin and cello combined with great piano trios, are performed in a virtuoso manner.

A special highlight of our new concert series is the finale with Haydn’s piano trio “Rondo all’ Ongarese” and Schubert’s trio op. 100.
We play in the oldest concert hall in Vienna, the "Sala Terrena" where Mozart himself played.

Mozart`s most renowned piece of music!

Performed in honor of Mozart´s anniversary of death on Dezember 4th, at his hour of death close to midnight.

Enjoy the famous "Requiem", the very last work he wrote, in the beautiful setting of the St. Charles Church in Vienna. Listen to the over 100 members of the choir and the soloists of the "RBS Europa Choir" and the "Orchestra 1756" as they perform the Requiem on historical instruments in an impressive location.
