Great day out, parkie was our guide and he entertained throughout with his great stories and eclectic music choices 🙂
Made to feel very welcome and great interaction with the whole group.
Beautiful scenery and some great stop offs for extra photo opportunities along the way.
Well worth the money, a long day but if you want to see as much as possible on a short break this is the trip for you. -

My mum and I were assigned to Duncan's minivan on 5th Sept. As our tour guide for the day, he made the 12h trip just fly past! What seemed like a long, tedious trip (travelling ~320miles) was very easy for us as Duncan ensured we were comfortable and entertained through the whole journey. He even made some fantastic food recommendations from the pies in our first stop at Callander to the Scotch Whiskey ice cream in our last stop at Pitlochry. The only bad thing about this journey were Duncan's jokes so bad you had to laugh anyway😂 He was extremely entertaining, jovial, and full of historical knowledge - sharing historical anecdotes in an especially riveting way. He even did his best - and succeeded - in finding us some highland cattle for a photo op! We can't sing him enough praises. In fact, we were so impressed with him, it surprised us that he's only been in this profession since March instead of a few years like we initially assumed.
The sights were incredible and breathtaking - as green as far as the eye can see and has a way of making you feel completely at peace. We stopped at a couple of Lochs along the way and even opted to do the Loch Ness Cruise in Fort Augustus which was very enjoyable in the great weather we had that day. This tour is a fantastic option if you've got a free day while in Edinburgh or even if you want to get out of the city for a bit. A+++ 12/10 would recommend. Will even do it all over again!

We really enjoyed our trip through the Scottish highlands. Our driver Stefan was very entertaining and keep the day moving. The villages we stopped at were so charming and there was enough time to eat or walk around. Great way to see the sights!

The trip started at 8 am August 20. Very good explanations.
Extra boat tour on Loch Ness is perfectly coordinated with this tour.
All the tour participants who wish are given spaces on the 2pm Loch Ness boat tour-in case of problems mention you are from the Rabbies tour. -

Our tour guide Barney is a great/safe driver and cool guide as well. This is my second time to join highland day trip, but first time for my family, so thanks a lot for giving them a great experience!

A comfortable ride with many, many stops. The stops were quick and meant to provide a stretch or photo op but it was more than enough. If you just want to get a quick look at things and then return to explore at length then this is the way to do it. You have to understand that you are covering a great deal of the country in just 12 hours - so dress appropriately and bring your camera. You will be able to grab snacks, drinks and lunch along the way and the driver will provide you with historical info as well as helpful suggestions. We did not chose to do the boat cruise at Loch Ness and instead opted to grab some lunch and wander a bit - I would chose this again. Again, you have to understand you’re only stopping at most places to snap a photo. This was perfect for our family as we were short on time but wanted to see the highlands. We know we will be back to explore more in depth and now we know where we will go. Everything was as advertised and it was an excellent value. I liked the small group of just 16 because it was easy to get off and on quickly when we just wanted to stop and see something such as the highland coos.

This was a wonderful day trip to the Highlands of Scotland! Our guide had a wealth of knowledge including local legends and origins of well-known songs. Our guide/driver kept us entertained the entire day and made frequent stops so we could get pictures and stretch our legs. It allowed us to see parts of Scotland that we would not have otherwise seen (because I wasn't renting a car!).

This tour was by far the favorite of the three we completed on our trip. Our guide Ally was sooo informative and kept us awake the entire journey (long 12 hours). The highlands were breathtaking. We made plenty of stop with adequate time. I recommend.

The highlands were so beautiful but what made this trip so wonderful was our driver, Duncan. He mixed our trip with informative and historical information along with fun stories and even a sing along. We stopped for breaks at the most beautiful places for photos and walking. Longer breaks allowed for shopping and meals. We booked the day trip thinking it would be an easier way to see the Highlands. It was so easy but Duncan made the trip so fun. We learned a lot even during his corny jokes.

This was a great trip. Glencoe was our favorite, I don’t even remember how many times our driver stoped to let us enjoy the scenery. The small groups were nice and the driver, Pete, was great! I cannot suggest the highlands enough.

Jonathan was our guide. If you get him consider yourself lucky. He was very knowledgeable about the sites, gave wonderful historical background at each place and along the drive, extremely engaging and helpful. You will feel as if you were the only ones in the Highlands. Breathtaking nature, wonderful people you meet in the tour and at the sites, and really memorable. Please try the Fish Skink at the inn in Loch Ness. It is delicious! I will take the tour again when I come back to Edinburgh. Yes, it is that good.

The only issue I had on what was an 11 hour long day trip was the Mercedes minibus with very un ergonomic seats. I got a pretty stiff back sitting in that narrow hard surface seat for 11 hours.

Al was a great guide. His jokes are very funny. We had a great time. The only way to see the Highlands is to let an expert drive and you sit back and enjoy the view. Al's knowledge of the area was great.

The driver is a very good tour guide who introduced the Scotland history and many funny stories. He worked hard and tried to make everyone happy. Also, he recommended the attractive places to take the pictures and very delicious restaurant in Loch Ness. We are impressed the Scotland highlands and many beautiful lakes.
