This is a public transit-intensive tutorial and tour of Manhattan, and the perfect "first day" initiation for tourists at the start of a trip to New York. Your guide meets you at your Manhattan hotel and will assist you in purchasing 7-day unlimited metrocards for your group, the tool for accessing NYC's transit. You’ll be shown how to systematically branch out from your hotel to get to all the neighborhoods, historic districts and other sightseeing destinations on your list, making the best use of your time while avoiding more expensive (and often slower) surface travel. You'll be provided with maps and a special custom navigational "cheat-sheet" for dozens of sites and parts of town to get to on your own. And the tour will include a select few destinations of the dozens your guide will show you how to access and navigate through an otherwise complex system of subways and buses.
