Add adrenaline and extreme emotions to your Turkish vacation with a full-day white water rafting adventure on the Köprüçay River of the Köprülü Canyon.

Sit back and relax on the 57 mile (95 kilometer) scenic drive from Antalya to Köprülü Canyon National Park where up to 7,000 people can raft on the river at the same time during the summer months.

Upon arrival, you will be fully equipped by your rafting guide and given a safety briefing to help you through the day. No previous experience is needed and no swimming ability is required. Even children (6-12 years old), accompanied by their parents, can join this family ride.

Then head out onto the waters of the Köprüçay River to raft the rapids of the 8.5-mile (14-kilometer) canyon, where the 2nd-century Oluk Bridge towers 88 feet (27 meters) high, lending even more drama to the backdrop of your rafting adventure.

    My family and I enjoyed the rafting. There were 2 "pit stops" along the way: the first for a little snack and whoever wanted to do zipline, an the second one if you wanted to do some ATV. The lunch was good and well organized. I know that it is a water activity, so be ready to be splashed by other boat riders by freezing water. Load up on vitamin C, as you can get sick (my younger one and I got sick with a sore throat and a runny nose), even when you ask your guide not to splash, they still do. Wear a wetsuit if you can, because as I mentioned the water is FREEZING.

    Rafting over the rough water was fantastic fun! Each guide interacted really well and made the whole experience brill. The worst part was how long it took to get there from Belek (left hotel at 0945, got into the raft 1330..) make sure you have water shoes. Waiting for the info talk and complete confusion of what mini bus to take from there to the river was not a good time... The actual rafting for 3/4 hours was brilliant! Lots of splashing, laughing, cheering etc... Made it worth the long wait. Food after was delicious.

    Our family did the rafting this week and had the most fantastic time. Ibrahim is an excellent host and river guide. The day was the best one of our holiday and such good value for money Highly recommended.

    Would definitely recommend this trip , there was 2 families of 4 so manage to all get in the same raft. We stayed in Belek & took us about 1hour 15 mins to get there. Staff were brilliant & explained everything. You will need waterproof shoes or you can buy them there for €7. What a great experience & the lunch provided was lovely , rice salad & chicken kebabs. A special mention to Ali who was our guide , he was fantastic very enthusiastic & made our experience even more enjoyable. A must excursion if your in the area.

    A definite highlight of the holiday. Our guide Ali made the experience such good fun. The lunch provide was excellent. I couldn't recommend this trip enough .

    The rafting part itself is exciting and well organised. Our captain (in a boat of 8) was amazing, experienced, funny and all you expect from a captain. All the rest is business and they treat you like a cow to get the milk from. It’s too much. The boat are overpacked. They fit 8 people in a boat of 6 and 10 or 11 in a boat of 8. The trip of 14 km should be done safely in 90 minutes but we took 3 hours because the tour operator had 4 boats and they wait for each other. Plus there is a stop where you pay for drinks and food. You are always on camera. At the end they sell the dvd that they show in TV during the lunch. The trip from Belek to Koprulu is also made too long with a useless stop in a market to make spend some money. In total it’s a 7 hour adventure that might be squeezed in 4. You arrived to your hotel exhausted. Again the rafting was great though

    They claim adrenaline rush and adventure, well its far from that. It started by a an unexpected canyon hike in water and rocks for about 3 hours. The hike should take no more than one hour but they keep taking breaks and wait for the group to catch up which wastes time. Then comes the rafting part which should also take about an hour but takes around 3 hours because of the breaks and time wasting. I asked the guy why you keep wasting our time and his answer was that we cannot reach the final point before a certain time because the restaurant which we were supposed to have lunch at is not ready and full with other groups. So we reached the restaurant around 5 pm to have “lunch”. Keep in mind that there was no food or drinks since around 10 am. This trip was poor because of them killing time. The only good thing is the views. The company that took us is called Mega Rafting through Tourmania.

    Took whole family which included a 9 year old . Had great day out. Instructors were friendly and you always felt safe with them. Food was reasonable and plenty cold drinks can be bought. Our 9 year old had the time of his life :-)
