Valencia medieval gates & Authentic tapas tour

 

We will begin our tour together in the heart of the ancient city between the two remaining medieval gates of Valencia. The city formerly had 12 gates, but only a few remain, still rich with interesting secrets. We will meet at Plaça dels Furs (Charters Square) and take a look inisde the Torres de Serranos, which used to be one of the main gates into Valencia during the 14th century. After admiring the ancient Gothic styled gate, we will walk down Carrer de Serranos and stop to sample a few drinks in an oenotheque. Here, we will taste a local and vintage Bobal red wine as well as a regional liquor called Mistela. Each drink will be paired with a tapa to complement the aromas and flavors of the drinks.
