Avila and Segovia Guided Tour with Lunch Upgrade

 

Avila, historic city of Spain, with its magnificent XII century walls. The city is the birthplace of St. Teresa of Jesus. We visit the outskirts of the Cathedral, “Plaza Mayor” or “Mercado Chico”, “Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz”, and the interiors of the Romanesque Basilica of San Vicente, the Church of San Juan Bautista and the Convent of Santa Teresa de Jesus. Afterwards we will head to Segovia, rich in historical monuments, highlighting its majestic Roman Aqueduct. We visit the interiors of the Gothic Cathedral, and the XII Century Alcazar, spectacular fortified building. Both cities, Avila and Segovia, have been declared World Heritage. The lunch is taken in Segovia.
