As you walk around the market, you will learn how to evaluate quality and select the best fresh seasonal product. We will discuss the history of markets, foods and some cultural and cooking traditions. Your English-speaking guide will purchase the products and together you will walk to the school for the cooking.
In class you will learn how to cook three Russian dishes with the guidance of the English-speaking chef. You will then sit down to eat the meal you have just cooked. Most popular dishes may include: borsch, solyanka, pelmeni, blini, beef stroganov and syrniki.
