Enjoy a full-day tour while visiting the “coolest” underground possible place to visit not only in Transylvania but maybe in whole S-E Europe. It is ancient, it`s history going back to Roman Empire time, it is deep 120 m (400 ft), actually the lowest point of Transylvania you can reach, and it is cold 10 Celsius (50F) constant temperature and it is Turda Salt Mine. You will actually scratch in an underground mountain of salt formed over 13.000.000 years ago.
On the way back we will stop to explore Targu Mures the capital town of Mures County also known as City of Flowers where one can enjoy a place fundamentally not touched by tourism. You will be presented the highlights of the town such as: Town Hall, Medieval Fortress, Apollo Palace and the Palace of Culture, all of the historical beautiful buildings. Also in this town you can eat one if not the best “Goulash” in Transylvania while learning the two local cultures, Hungarian and Romanian are completing each other.
