Geres NationalPark Lindoso & Soajo

 

Uncover the little-known treasures of Geres National Park on a 3-hour insider walking tour through the hiking trail Paths of bread and faith in Soajo. Deep grooves have been worn into the stones from centuries of ox-drawn carts that transported corn from the fields up to a series of watermills before making the return journey with sacks of flour. This hike starts and ends nearby a lagoon, where you can swim and relax. 
After a picnic lunch with local food you will explore Lindoso castle and 60 granaries. If you are a really walker we can explore Serra Amarela on foot and visit more lagoons in the afternoon.
