This half day in the north of the island begins at Chão dos Louros. In full Laurissilva spot where we can enjoy the lovely scenery of the Valley of São Vicente.
Going down a little more we got to Chão da Ribeira another beautiful spot where we can appreciate more of the valley within the Laurissilva.
Advancing toward the north end of the region, we have the viewpoint of Ribeira da Janela, to view the contrast of the mountain with the sea.
Finally, we visit Achadas da Cruz, a place that makes the transition between the north coast and the south of the island. If you want you can get in the cable car and visit one of the most beautiful fajãs and quiet places of the Island (fee applies).
