The Jasna Gora hill is located in Czestochowa, a small town 130 km north-west from Krakow. It is where  a famous sanctuary and cloister are located. The sight is considered one of the most important when it comes to the worship of St. Mary, it is also  the most popular pilgrimage destination in Poland. This is mostly thanks to the sacred painting of St. Mary of Częstochowa the Mother of Jesus and other sacred art.
