Overnight Stay with Reindeer Sledding & Feeding and Chance for Northern Lights

 

The location has little artificial light and excellent conditions to look for the Northern Lights. Instead of heading back to the city centre where you might miss a late night dance from the Aurora, stay on in this good location in a traditional Sami lavvu, sleeping on reindeer skins in winter-insulated sleeping bags. The tour involves interaction with reindeer in a paddock and you will try reindeer sledding, the oldest means of transportation in the north.
*All animals used for these services are trained for the activity, however, the behavior of animals can be unpredictable and therefore it's essential that all participants follow all given instructions for their safety, and the safety of others.
*Reindeer Sledding is subject to snow and if weather conditions don't allow us to run the sled-ride we will offer you a partial refund.
*Each reindeer and sled are bound together in a long row with the lead reindeer in the front.
*Sleds are shared, 2 participants on one sled.
