Oslo is beautifully situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord (Oslofjorden in Norwegian) and is surrounded by forested hills. It’s a stunning city, and the best way to appreciate its beauty is on a relaxing sightseeing cruise.
On this two-hour tour, discover the scenery from a sightseeing boat. You’ll sail past numerous islands, including Hovedøya and the Dyna Lighthouse, through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays so that you can capture the capital on camera from different angles. We will pass the Opera House in Oslo, housing The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet ensemble. The spot has been named Kirsten Flagstads place 1 after the opera's first director Kirsten Flagstad place 1 after the opera's first director Kirsten Flagstad. It was designed by the architectural firm Snøhetta AS, which won an architectural competition in 2000.
A choice of seven departure times gives you excellent flexibility and allows you to easily fit this tour into your Oslo vacation.

Very good way to see islands that surround oslo, however do not book this trip in the middle of winter when there is -7 degrees, as you will freeze! 😅😂 -

Unfortunately bad weather made the experience less enjoyable than it ought to have been but the staff were attentive, professional and knowledgeable & friendly -

Experience was definitely 5* the view was incredible throughout, the boat was lovely and the staff were friendly. It was the definite highlight of my trip to Norway. However it was a mistake to book tickets through Tripadvisor as their markup was huge (£10/€12 per ticket) and it seemed like you could get tickets easily on the day. Not one to miss but either book there or with Viatour! -

It was so beautiful in the winter! We did the 1-3pm session so the sun started setting while we were still on the boat which was breathtaking. -

Beautiful scenery and well placed commentary that left plenty of gaps to enjoy the view in peace. Good on board facilities and welcoming crew. Well worth it -

This is probably a nice tour in warm weather but it is miserable once the temperature gets below freezing. The boat has no enclosed areas from which to view the sites. We ended up moving downstairs to the hull area halfway through. -

We went at the end of November, and it was very cold! This was a really nice trip with lovely views and a good way to get on the water while staying in Oslo. However, after the first hour it became a bit gruelling due to the cold, so perhaps a shorter trip in the winter, or go in the summer. There were lovely warming drinks available at the bar but they were quite pricy. The views were nice, the commentary interesting and there was a useful stop at the museums (though you have to go on the morning boat if you want to catch the boat back), but overall the trip was pretty average. The seating area was overcrowded, with people having to stand for the entirety of the 2 hours if they got on too late, and if you sat on the right, you missed a lot of the views that the commentary was telling you about, which were on the left and covered by two rows of tables. Overall the layout, the lack of cover in the cold weather and the overcrowding took the trip from great to just nice, but it was a fun experience and I'm glad we went. -

Great boat, a very beautiful and informational tour of the inner fjord. Really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in town. It is a bit cold. -

Great trip. Captain and crew were lovely. Wrap up warm if you go in the winter months as the wind chill at see is very cold. Great commentary throughout and a couple of Gloggs made this a very good birthday trip. -

Loved taking the tour in the afternoon to catch the sunset. It was beautiful. Very cold evening but it’s ideal for any time of the year -

Brilliant experience and well worth it! They have blankets on board but make sure to wrap up warm and waterproof. The only issue is if you are outside you can’t hear the commentary. Other than that it was a highlight of the trip! -

Amazing experience! Very attentive staff. We were a group of 8 and they already reserved our seats before our arrival. Snack and drinks available also on board. -

My sweetie loves boats & I thought this would be a great treat to end our epic trip. We boarded the boat promptly and it was full. There's a full bar on board and a large room down below. The head aka bathroom was clean and well stocked. We sailed the bay learning about the area, seeing the sights and taking it all in. It was a great way to end our amazing trip thru the British Isles and Norway. -

Did the 3.30 cruise it was raining and a little foggy but still highly recommend. Found the information on board interesting and the views are beautiful even in poor weather. While visibility is probably better on earlier sailings it was nice to come back to the city as it was beginning to light up. Enjoyed hot chocolate on board - worth it in cold weather. Definitely wrap up warm. Would recommend trying to get a seat on the side of the boat closest to the pier (port side) when boarding as this is the side the commentary mainly focuses on. -

A very nice time! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Fellow patrons were also very kind. I do recommend dressing for a cooler temp than you’d expect. It’s chilly once you’re on the water and the wind begins blowing! Complimentary blankets are available and hot beverages for purchase. -

The trip was nice, even in the fog, but make sure to dress accordingly. In October it can be very windy, cold, and rained a bit. -

Arrived 15 mins before departure and the only available spot that wasnt reserved was right on the front of the boat, out in the open. Tables were reserved under the covered area for what turned out to be about a dozen Spanish teenagers who when they finally showed up were loud, ignorant and once the boat set sail moved to the front leaving their bags on their reserved seats. There was also another group who had a toddler, no more than 2 who pretty much screamed for almost the entire two hours. This was not an enjoyable excursion. And to think I paid shy of £70 for two people, utter joke. Will not recommend -

I loved this cruise, I do agree with others who point out that it was very crowded, but my personal experience is that it was brilliant. I sat right at the front of the ship so had an amazing view of everything we sailed past. The sound of the waves, the breeze in my hair, the views - beautiful. If you want to listen to the facts though, definitely not the best place to sit. I missed about 95% of what was said over the speakers because of the sound of the waves and the boat, but for me taking loads of photo and just sitting back and enjoying the experience was what I was there for. Highly recommend -

The cruise departed on time and the vessel was equipped with all the necessary safety equipment. It was a bit packed, so I recommend getting there early. We saw a lot of Oslo fjord in the 2-hour sail and we even saw dolphins! I recommend this cruise if it's your first time in Oslo. -

The crew was very polite. It was totally worth it. You can see a lot of the fjords and they explain so many things about the islands and also you can see great monuments. Thank you so much for the experience!!!!
