Spot seals & Seal Rescue Center Pieterburen 9hrs -Private group/family tour (7p)

 

This tour incl. pick up, so comfortably wait to start your tour to spot seals and visit the seal rescue center with your own group (or family) of max. 7 people. Your guide drives you to the northern coast of the country, a journey of about 2,5 hrs taking you through the polders and countryside. We drive either first to the harbor of Lauwersoog or to Pieterburen (depending on day). At the harbor we embark on MS Happy Seal, a boat for max. 25 passengers, to spot seals in their own habitat: the Wadden Sea. The boat trip takes about 2 hrs. Without disturbing nature, explore a unique area and let yourself be enchanted.
Then we drive (30min) to Sealcenter Pieterburen, the largest seal rescue and rehabilitation center in the Netherlands. Injured/sick/orphaned seals are rehabilitated and released. You've some free time to discover the center on your own, and the 40 min. guided tour given by volunteers of the center takes you behind the scenes. Then it’s time for the drive back.
