The drive to Kinderdijk is 1.5 hrs. Upon arrival, watch a brief introductory movie, after which your tour guide walks you to 2 mills, where you can meet the millers. All the other windmills are inhabited. Ask the millers anything you'd like to know about milling, before walking back to the visitor's center to see the old machinery.
