Amsterdam 1-Hr Canal Cruise from Central Station with Optional Attraction Tickets
Amsterdam, Netherlands

Programul activitatii
On the day of your cruise, make your way to the boat company in central Amsterdam, right in front of Central Station. Then head to the pier to board your comfortable, glass-topped boat. Settle into your seat and start your 1-hour journey around Amsterdam’s UNESCO World Heritage canal district.
When your boat pulls away, take your first glimpse of the historic city from the water, and hear illuminating facts about Amsterdam’s history from the onboard audio commentary. All the sights have their own individual stories, and the commentary unravels the secrets and tales behind each one.
Feast your eyes on Amsterdam’s famous merchant’s houses, many built during Amsterdam’s Golden Age of the 16th and 17th centuries. Learn why they were designed with narrow frontages and hear about their beautiful gables, some with carvings that depict the family crests and trades of the homeowners.
As you glide alongside leafy banks and quaint houseboats, see highlights such as the Anne Frank House and the Golden Bend district with its grand manor houses, and float under the city’s lovely bridges including the famous Magere Brug. After an hour on the water, arrive back at the start pier, where your cruise experience ends.
You can upgrade the canal cruise with multiple attraction combinations, which will give you an amazing discount for both activities. Tickets booked here also include fast-track admission to these attractions and museums, so you’ll also save time at the entrance. Attractions to choose from are:

WOW! What a pleasant way to see a bit of Amsterdam. Actually, we saw a great deal more than I expected. The pre recorded commentary was excellent and followed perfectly what we were seeing. Well timed ride with the commentary. It was super easy to locate in front of the massive train station.. one of those hard to miss situations. I am well pleased with this choice. Worth the money.

Excellent way to see Amsterdam. Buying the ticket online does save you a bit. Excellent tour provider and organized.

We enjoyed this tour very much. The audio portion was very informative, and the tour guide/driver was also very interesting. The hour was just right. I would recommend this to tour to others.

We sat outside at the rear of the boat for better pictures. The captain continued to provide additional comments beyond the recorded guided tour that we were not able to hear where we were outside. A beautiful city and lovely in the evenings.

Good canal tour and commentary, it was a very hot day and the boat was very crowded.

The primary reason that I purchased this ticket on viator is because the description says Fast-Track Ticket. When I arrived at the specified ticket pick-up location, the attendant informed me there is no such fast track ticket. She told me all of their tickets are the same. Luckily we didn't have to wait in line long on this specific day. I would not recommend purchasing this specific ticket through Viator. You can purchase from an agency close to Central Station and save yourself the walk to find the pick up location. Also, the cruise was a little boring in my opinion. It's a pre recorded audio tour that you listen to with headphones as captain drives the boat around. If you have any additional questions, there is no one to ask. Also, there were times that the audio was not on pace with where we were located. You could see everyone in the boat the turning their heads to try to figure out what the audio was speaking about. I would recommend a smaller more personal/interactive tour, if I had to do it again.

Not what it seems. Fast track it is not. You need to get a ticket - supposedly fast tracked - and then have the privilege of waiting, in our case, in the longest queue of any boat company. Don't pre-purchase. Just go down and find the shortest queue with any of the canal companies. The cruises are all the same. Deeply disappointing!!!
