Take a day trip to the historic city of Madaba to see the beautiful Byzantine mosaics and other 6th century masterpieces. Visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George to see the mosaic map of the Holy Land. The trip includes a tour of La Storia, a unique an interactive museum that showcases the religious culture and history of Jordan. One cannot visit Madaba without stopping at Mount Nebo. It is believed that this is where Moses was shown the promise land. Then take the route of the prophets, saints and believers down to the Baptism Site; the birthplace of Christianity and Jordan’s holiest site.
