Woodblock printing was widely adopted in Japan during the Edo period (1603-1868) known as the Japanese traditional art of "Ukiyo-e" on a single sheet. There are some well-known Woodblock Prints including the famous "Akafuji" and "The Great Wave off Kanagawa". Your English-speaking woodblock print master and the friendly young staff will go through the printing process with you. Come as you are and children are welcome, too!
