Daruma dolls are round-shaped dolls that have long been loved by the Japanese as good luck charms, believed to help realize people’s wishes. And there is no more fitting place to engage in a daruma crafting activity than Jindaiji Temple, famous for holding one of the three biggest daruma doll markets in Japan. This workshop lets you create your own adorable mini daruma doll(You can even make a cat-shaped one!) as well as a mini zabuton cushion to go with it. Engage in fun little daruma-themed games and enjoy Japanese tea and snacks while leaving the daruma to dry.
