    My sisters and I (4 of us) booked a private Godfather tour with Rosario while we were staying in Taormina. We had a wonderful tour with Rosario who gave us lots of information and history about the Godfather movie and the various locations where it was filmed. We would definitely recommend this tour.

    John Franco was a fabulous guide. He hit the right mix of information, local and Godfather related, relaxation, walking and humor. We had a wonderful time and whether you care about the Godfather or not this tour was a great way to spend time with a local and drive the crazy roads and walk around these beautiful mountainside villages!! We loved it!!

    These picture-postcard villages are the perfect locations to explore Sicilian life and the history of a classic film. Rosario is an excellent guide, full of enthusiasm and knowledge. Taking an afternoon tour was a great idea - quieter, cooler and so atmospheric as we explored Forzo D’Agro at sunset as the clouds swirled around us.

    We unexpectedly had the owner of the company as our tour guide..Rosario was very knowledgeable and shared so many details we had no idea about the filming of the movie and the location. His driving and his English were excellent. He brought along pictures and an iPad to explain so many interesting things along the way. He made suggestions for places we should try to see during our stay that his tour does not do.

    Firstly as we were visiting on a cruise ship. It helped that we were able to go to the Sicily Legend web site and make contact direct, to choose timings that suited the ships schedule. We were picked up from the port Rosario - We were then driven safely and comfortably in a air conditioned 4x4 through Taormina and along the coast towards our Savoca destination.Throughout the tour Rosario gave us interesting information and was very helpful, along with photo opportunities. On entering Savoca he played the Godfather theme, which was a lovely touch. We then walked through the town where he pointed out all the places of interest, and explained how things happened in the film. We even saw one of the locals who appeared as an extra outside her home. We finished with a drink at bar Vitelli. Afterwards he drove us to Forza D’Agro where we enjoyed spectacular views of the coastline and a walk through the older part of the town along with photo opportunities and other The Godfather film locations. This was a really great tour and exceeded our expectations. Rosario is a enthusiastic and informative guide.

    I did not participate in this private tour which I am sure is wonderful. What we did do is take a cab from the hotel and visit/tour Savoca on our own. Once there in the village square, you can walk and or take the small golf cart tour for 6 euros. A quaint village with much to offer. Two thumbs up.......If able to dine at the bar vitteli , please do

    Being a life long fan of the film and it being my first time in Sicily, I did a lot of research before booking this tour. It was worth the effort because this tour is awesome and our guide, Rosario, was AMAZING! He speaks excellent English and made us feel very relaxed. I was with my wife and our 6 year old son (no he hasn’t seen the film!) and Rosario looked after us so well and took the time to show us round Savoa and Forza d’Agro beyond just the film references. We felt like we got a glimpse into real Sicilian life. Both towns are beautiful and because we went later in the day, it was quieter, cooler and we got to see the sun setting over the sea which as fabulous. Rosario is an expert on The Godfather films and knows all of the inside info on how they filmed and the lesser known locations. He came armed with photos and stills from the films (as well as the famous music!) which really helped to bring it alive. Highlight has to be the unexpected bonus of meeting the lady who played Apollina’s mother as she still lives in Savoca! Thoroughly recommend this tour and this tour company. 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Our tour guide Rosario was very knowledgeable about the movie and area. Very pleasant personality and drive through so many beautiful places. Bar Vitelli was a highlight. Delicious granita served there. The pizza at another village was among the best we ever had. On-time arrival and worth every penny.

    Johnny was great but he admittedly did not know much about the filming if The Godfather. He was very very knowledgeable and informative on other parts of Sicily but this was a Godfather tour. We were hoping to understand more about the filing, how the locations were selected how thing filming effected the towns etc

    Marcelo came early to our hotel to pick us up for the godfather tour..he was polite, extremely engaged and his English was superb. He took 4 of us on a walking tour of the 2 villages..very relaxed, no pressure and went at our speed. We finished the tour with granita and drinks in the atmospheric Bar Vitelli in Savoca which was delightful! A very interesting 4 hour tour with excellent guide…highly recommended!

    Our Tour guide Rosario was very knowledgeable , passionate and has a deep love for the island of Sicily which made the tour so enjoyable and authentic. If you are fans of The Godfather I thoroughly recommend it. One of the villages (Savoca) Rosario took us to simply took our breath away. We will definitely be back in Sicily! One of the best tours we have been on during our travels.

    My wife and I took the Godfather tour after many others tours enjoyed during our stay in Taormina, I found them and after a few questions where they were very responsive even the price was not cheap I booked the tour anyway. Good job! We had a terrific day with our guide, who was very knowledgeable about the movie and the places visited, but above our expectations he was so flexible and very kindly to take us to eat a delicious Sicilian Pizza even not specified before by us. I highly recommend this company. Thank you guys!
