I live next to my 'Nonna' grandma Amina, in a village in Abruzzo.
She has been making traditional fresh pasta since the early age. With 83 years old, she keeps making more & more.
While living abroad, I discovered how lucky I am to be from this untouched part of Italy, and moved back to promote sustainable tourism experiences in Abruzzo at 'Experience BellaVita'.
At our home, we home-grown all our vegetables, olive oil & have our own hens.
WHAT WE WILL DO
We’ll meet our Nonna who has a special surprise.
We’ll be making 2 kinds of pasta: the traditional Chitarra from the 'Teramo' Province, the famous tagliatelle & then compare the two.
Nonna will share with you all the secrets for making the perfect fresh pasta from scratch so that once back home you can take with you a piece of Abruzzo and impress your friends & loved ones.
At the same time, we prepare the sauce (tomatoes/vegetables) and share together what we prepared.
Together we will share a typical day of a family from Abruzzo
