Full Day Excursion Palermo, Monreale, Mondello, S Rosalia from Palermo

 

Departure in the morning at 08.30 from  Hotel, b & b in Palermo or from the Port, in a new and comfortable Minibus, the half day will be dedicated to visiting the main monumen of the capital of Sicily and  Monreale. After visit Monreale of about 1 hour where you can admire the Abbey with its magnificent cathedral, its dazzling mosaics of the twelfth century and still the cloister Benedictine. From Monreale we will move to the historic center of Palermo, Corso Vittorio Emanuele where  “Porta Nuova”, the Royal Palace or '' Palazzo dei Normanni '' with its garden, visit  the Cathedral founded in 1184 ,then we will move to the Via Maqueda which is the heart of the city and its noble palaces and churches with an baroque façade and Piazza Quattro Canti and Piazza Pretoria with the monumental fountain, the Church of the Martorana in Arab-Norman style, and finally the Politeama Theater and the Massimo Theaterand at about 13.00 return to your Hotel, b & b in Palermo or the Port
