    Our driver was good, the car was clean and comfortable, But due to traffic we spent 4.5 hours in the car and only 2 hours seeing the sights - 1 hour Positano and 1 hour in Sorrento. We did not have time to see Pompeii! Terrible tour.

    We book a tour Feelnaples di Domenico De Cristofaro. We planned our day trip during a cruise, so we have a limited time. Our driver, Alfonso really did a great job. We had a perfect day with fun, relaxation, good food and some site seeing.

    This tour was a highlight of our trip in no small part because of Alfonso's outstanding work as our tour guide. Alfonso customized the experience for us by getting us to the Amalfi Coast early in the day to beat the worst of the traffic and maximize our time for sightseeing. He always found the most picturesque spots to stop and allow us to enjoy the amazing scenery and organized a great lunch for us so we could sample some delicious and authentic Napoli food. He even serenaded us with some Italian songs while navigating the windy roads of the Amalfi Coast--an impressive feat for sure! Touring with Alfonso was like spending the day with a good friend and we hope to see him again someday!

    Reserved a Private Tour for my family of four. Started rough and ended poorly. The driver and his assistant (and translator) weren't actual tour guides - they knew nothing of Naples nor the Amalfi Coast. The Mercedes Van we were provided was worn down and dirty. I mean really dirty and worn. That might have been acceptable if it weren't for the fact the air conditioner DIDN'T work. Yep, no AC! It was 96 degrees out and we had no air conditioner in the back of the van. We tried to make the best of it, but as the day got hotter we couldn't take it anymore. After 4-5 hours in the van, we asked to be returned to the port. The driver and assistant were nice enough and very apologetic. The company even refunded us about half what we paid, but this was a terrible experience. Perhaps we were unlucky as it appears every other review is positive. I'd simply warn anyone considering this company to be very careful.

    This tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Our plane arrived late, but our incredible driver Alfonso waited the entire time and was so pleasant from the first moment we met him. He gave us great suggestions to maximize our time and made the entire day and amazing experience. He knew all of the best places to go along the coast, made us reservations at a breathtaking family restaurant, and even took us on a tour of their garden. Then he got us back to the train station on time. By the time we left, we were more than tourists; we were friends. Alfonso is the freaking man!

    We had an amazing time, I would highly recommend this trip. Our driver was excellent and knowledgeable. He reserved a table for us for lunch in busy Sorento and showed us all the hidden gems along the way. He also went out of his way to secure a car for us the following day when the taxi cab drivers were on strike! Lifesaver!

    We booked a private tour with skip the lines passes. We got a driver only. He was very nice but when we asked him questions he said to my fiancé “Listen Lady I’m just a driver not a tour guide”. This was our 3rd private tour we booked with Viator in a week. The other 2 were perfect. This was like we hired a taxi. We asked about our skip the line passes and he had no idea what we were talking about. Again, he was very nice but it was like we got into a taxi and had to tell him where we wanted to go. It was extremely disappointing since we had no idea where to go cause it was supposed to be a guided private tour of the Amalfi coast.

    Beautiful day driving along the coast. Roberto was a great driver and guide. Not sure how he was able to maneuver through the skinny streets. The van was very comfortable and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our day!

    I would love to leave a review for Alfonso and our excursion with him today. We had the most enjoyable day with him touring Sorrento and Pompeii. He took the time to explain the region and show us the best places for pictures as local foods. We had lunch at a restaurant that was recommended by him that was truly amazing and the highlight of our day. We enjoyed all the facts and information he shared with is about the region and would come back to have another day with Alfonso alone. Thank you!

    We had an absolutely wonderful day touring Sorrento, Positano, and Pompeii with our guide, Alfonso. He started by giving us a very interesting history on Naples as we left the city, which led to wonderful stories and facts as we passed through his hometown of Castellamarre, and finally a rich history on the beautiful cities of Sorrento and Positano. We had plenty of time to enjoy each, and Alfonso was such a great driver on what have to be among the most challenging roads and driving conditions in the world. If you are the type that gets car sick, I recommend taking Dramamine or some other type of motion sickness medicine before the tour. After leaving Positano we ate lunch in the foothills of Mt. Vesuvius at a gorgeous family-owned winery at Alfonso’s recommendation, and finally met a tour guide he had arranged for us at Pompeii…our last stop of the day. Our family of 7 were all thrilled, and each of us would highly recommend this tour!

    Our driver and tour guide, Alfonso, was a very informational, fun, flexible and accommodating person. He shared with us information about the places and culture of Italy. The tour was worth it for a short time in Naples. The one thing we might change would to get a tour guide for Pompeii since we found Pompeii to be bigger and more confusing than we expected. It was a great tour and my family and I would recommend it.

    Our guide was very nice. That is all I can say. The minivan was old and dirty. For a tour fee of $800, at the very least, I expected a clean, proper working vehicle. Instead, we had a dirty and loud vehicle, not to mention broken armrest, seat, vents and clutch issues. The return trip was a 3 hour trip from Sorrento with mechanical issues that did not allow for a smooth ride. Every time the brake was used my seat would rock forward, which was every 10 seconds. The armrest was broken, vents were broken and cracked. It didn't look like the vehicle had been cleaned in years. The vehicle was so loud, a normal conversational voice could not be used. I would stay clear of this tour operator!! Look at the photos to confirm my assessment. I also have a video but I couldn't post it.

    We had a full day traveling to Sorrento, Positano, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Our driver/guide Alfonso took our party of 4 to all the best places. He was fun and informative, giving us a real taste of Italy. Would highly recommend this all day private tour.

    We (2 couples) arranged a private tour of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. The driver was waiting for us and was reasonably fluent in English. He has been doing this tour for several years and pointed out numerous interesting points, and new how to avoid the worst of the crowds. Actually there were no crowds to speak of along the coast. It is beautiful (perhaps enchanting). The driver had connections at a restaurant that gave us an open window table overlooking the buildings below (near the top of the mountain) and into the bay. The food was excellent. We finished with a personally guided tour of Pompeii. The guide was very knowledgeable. I will admit having seen a Roman City ruins in Israel, Pompeii wasn't that special (but at least we can say we were there). To get us back to our cruise ship on time, he managed to give us an adventure ride back that reminded us we were in Italy. A delightful day.

    Dodi picked us up at the cruise port in Naples, holding a sign with our name on it. There were 4 of us on this private tour. We were able to adjust our itinerary for the day upon meeting Dodi. We requested to spend more time seeing Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, as well as a little time in Naples, as opposed to going to Pompeii. This was our last port of 10 on our cruise and we were frankly a little wore out, so our request was to have a more low-key day with still seeing amazing sites. Dodi was great to accommodate us! This worked out great for our available time. Dodi took us to a great lunch spot in Sorrento with an amazing view! We had a a fantastic day visiting Positano, the drive along the Amalfi Coast, lunch and time for shopping in Sorrento. Dodi went out of his way to tell us myths and folklore about this region of Italy. Upon returning to Naples, we had requested to have pizza. His first recommendation had not yet opened for the day, so he got us pizza from another restaurant - excellent! He returned us to the ship in a timely manner! We would definitely recommend Dodi!

    We could not have asked for a better tour Alfonso was so knowledgeable about the entire area he went way beyond what we expected. Suggested a great restaurant overlooking the coast, actually ordered our tickets for Pompeii so we wouldn't have to wait in line. In addition to knowing the area he also told us about some legends that were quite entertaining. And as an added bonus he sings!! We all ended up singing Italian songs on our way back, we have taken quite a few Via tours and have never been disappointed but this one was outstanding. Thank you ALFONSO

    Loved not fighting for the 'right side of the bus' to see the incredible view driving along the Amalfi Coast...you can see it all from your own private car! Antonio was friendly and professional, and not only collected us on time but also stuck to a tight time schedule to ensure we maximised our full day off the cruise. 8am - 4pm. Loved the local restaurant in Postiano with an awesome view, and the private tour through Pompeii was very interesting. Thanks Antonio. If you are thinking of doing a private tour I highly recommend booking this company.

    The beautiful Amalfi Coast could not have been the same with out Alfonzo. Alfonzo picked us up at the port, drove us from Naples down to Sorento where we toured a Lemon cello factory. Then brought us safely up to Positano, and to a family restaurant with a table overlooking the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Then over to Pompeii. Everything went like clockwork. Alfonzo is super sweet, very knowledgeable and kept us entertained all Day. Thanks, Alfonzo for making our day one of the best experiences in our travels. God bless Alfonzo, his family and his hard work!

    From the client Mr. Raymond Solano, October 13, 2019 tour date Naples trip to Pompeii was exceptional..great guide. However we have a complaint with the tour companies vehicle . Is was old and dirty and beyond its useful life. I noticed and reordered multiple engine warning ⚠️ on his dashboard. Also the entire poor suspension made for very uncomfortable ride. The driver told us he was leaving the company shortly and we can understand why. He was very helpful in-spite of the horrific traffic jam that caused us to scramble to get the last train out of Naples and pay for another set of tickets as the train office was closed ($107 euro) and our train was leaving in 5 min. Also the Driver told us we only had one hour in Positano because the owner refused to pay 10$ for additional parking I would appreciate if you can negotiate an appropriate discount for the misrepresentation of a premium vehicle for the price we were charged. I have pictures to back up my claim and prepared to share them.
