Entrance ticket to Museo del Bargello

 

Dedicated to Medieval and Renaissance art, the Museo Nazionale del Bargello is located in Florence’s historic Palazzo del Podestà. It was established by royal decree on June 22, 1865—Italy’s first national museum. It is articulated in 3 floors and the museum houses masterpieces by Michelangelo, Sansovino, Giambologna and many works from the Della Robbia family. It also has a fine collection of ceramics (maiolica), textile, tapestries, ivory, silver, armour and coins.
