Baking has been at the centre of Greek life since the days of antiquity and it's still just as culturally important now as it's ever been.
The Greek Kitchen has created a baking menu to reflect the season, so not only are you learning some amazingly tasty bakes, you're learning about their relevance in Greek culture too.
Our baking classes reflect the time of year and we change to stay in line with the seasons, the produce availability and the local festivity calendar; if you come at Christmas, Lent or Easter you'll learn some really interesting local recipes and also expect changes for the spring, summer and autumn winter when different produce becomes available.
Whenever you come to a baking class at The Greek Kitchen you'll learn a seasonal loaf of bread, a batch of cookies and a pie which can be eaten at the school or packed up and taken away for a treat later on - of course we'll send you the recipes as well so you can bake for those at home, the best souvenir we can think of!
