Through the Bavarian Alps, past the Chiemsee, we bring you to Salzburg in Austria. There you have around 2.5 hours to explore the world famous Mozart city and location of "The Sound of Music" on your own. Let yourself be carried away in the narrow streets of the picturesque old town, discover the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the famous Getreidegasse or visit the fortress Hohensalzburg, landmark of the city and largest preserved castle in Central Europe.
Just from Apr - Oct: Afterwards we take you through the Salzkammergut to the nearby natural paradise Wolfgangsee. Here you can simply take a break from the breathtaking scenery or take a boat trip to St. Wolfgang, where you can fortify yourself in the restaurant of the legendary "Romantikhotel im Weissen Rössl". On the way back to Munich we pass the Mondsee, scene of the film classic "The Trapp family".
In winter we habe a longer stay in Salzburg.
