Come on a tour around Munich and discover the city's rich history, the role that beer played throughout the ages and the long-standing traditions and food laws dating back 525+years that still bind the heritage of Munich's "liquid bread" together.
We will start with a walking tour around the inner parts of Munich's Old City and the famous Viktualien Food Market followed by a visit to the city's own Bier and Oktoberfest Museum.
Home to the largest festival in the world with 6.5 million visits, a guided tour around the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum (where I am the only native English speaking guide) will explain all about the 16 day festivities and give you plenty of reasons why this event should be on your bucket list!
A beer tasting session will explain the different styles of lager and ales found in the city, from hops to malt roasting I'll answer any beer related questions you might have, with tips on the best places to go to sample more of the city's famous brews.
