it was my cousin's first visit to paris so i was trying to look for a local tour which doesn't cover the usual common touristic spots - really glad to have found this package! even though i've been to montmarte quite a few times, i never really knew much about the historical side. thanks to our knowledgeable tour guide, Raphaelle who shared a lot of insights and tips about this town where she grew up in - despite being just 2 of us in the group indeed, it's find to find many options which run during winter!. she also brought us to many instagrammable charming spots of montmarte. would highly recommend this tour!!!

Our guide, Victor, was brilliant. Lots of interesting facts about Montmartre and his explanations of the history of various paintings as they related to Montmartre and the street art made the tour even better. He clearly has a passion for Art and a love of the Montmartre area which gave us a real insight into the area and how it differs from the rest of Paris. We would recommend him to anyone wanting something more from a tour of Sacre Coeur!

Cody was knowledgeable about both fun trivia and history facts, and conducted the tour at a nice pace to accommodate the needs of my 79-yr-old mom. We learned so much and both thoroughly enjoyed it. You could tell he was passionate about Paris and Montmartre and had historical pictures showing what had happened at various spots on the route.

Great walking tour. Our guide, Melanie was outstanding, witty, knowledgeable and fun to be with. We learned a lot about the neighborhood. Although there was some uphill walking it was not as strenuous as I thought.

Corey our guide was awesome. This is a must do, if you have an extra half day in Paris. Love this section of Paris. Corey was very knowledgeable and had great stories and historical facts.

We had such a fun time on this walk. Our guide, Corey, was an American so that there was no problems understanding his English. He had great stories to tell us about the artist and Saint Dennis as we criss-crossed streets going up to MontMartre. It was a delightful tour and I highly recommend it. Our guide, had photo's of the artists paintings when the artist lived there, which was amazing. Although it is a steep walk up, you do not realize it because of Corey's stories and his criss-crossing so that it was rare that we walked straight up. Thank you!

Had my husband and I decided to explore Montmartre on our own, we likely would have taken the funicular up to Sacre Coeur - and missed so much about the history of this charming region. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very open to our group's many questions. Our ascent included stops at homes and restaurants that world renowned artists Van Gogh and Picasso frequented in their time. Though the walk was steep, it didn't feel tiring due to the interesting conversation and learning opportunities along the way. After the tour we spent some time admiring the work of local arts in the Place du Tertre and brought home a lovely memory of our time in Paris. I highly recommend this tour!

Very good and comprehensive tour. Heidi was a great guide. Very informative. Lots of walking with quite a bit uphill but not a problem. Gets very crowded around the Sacre Cour. We learned a lot about the artists who called this home. Watch out for the walking portrait artists around the village. They are a real ripoff. Would definitely recommend this tour.

My husband and I recently took this tour through Montmartre. We ended up being the only two on the tour. Alois was our tour guide. She was wonderful! She was patient with questions and requests to repeat words in French. She was very insightful and knowledgable about Paris and Montmartre. And she obviously loves not only the city but sharing it with others as well. Hopefully when we return to Paris we will be able to connect with her on another tour.

we were very lucky to be the only 2 people on the tour that morning---and Heidi ,our Tour Guide was sooo interesting and informative---and we went back afterwards to several of the places she,d shown us--eg the bistro Deux Moulins--felt she gave us a good overview of the History of Montmartre/Paris---we would definitely use this tour company again

Marion was our guide and she did a wonderful job. She was full of interesting stories about the artists back in the early days of Montmartre and then she brought us up to date about the current population. We felt she kept up a good pace, also. We would use her agin and recommend her.

Visiting Paris once before, Montmarte is my favorite area! It reminds me of New Orleans with its history of late nights, art, sex, and culture. Walking through it is lovely! Our tour guide with Victor and he was GREAT! Hilarious and cultured - really loved what he was doing. Sacre Coer is at the end of course with the wonderful view. I gave 4/5 stars due to the price- I believe this tour should come with SOMETHING else whether a drink from moulin rouge to being or entry into sacre coeur... compared to the other tours we did they would be of same price but include bus rides/wines/etc. Otherwise wonderful tour in wonderful area - Victor amazing!
