Itinerary

Participants will be picked up from their hotel in the early morning by air-conditioned microbus and taken to the boat. The drive takes you to the Dolphinhouse, which is known for hosting dolphins. The probability of encountering a school of dolphins here is around 90%. Lunch will be served during the trip. The excursion includes 2 - 3 snorkeling trips on different reefs, where you can marvel at the wonderful underwater world of the Red Sea with its biodiversity.

    it was truly an amazing experience and i would definitely do this again. The team were amazing- they were helpful and extremely hospitable and friendly. They went out of their way for everyone including those who dont know how to swim. one of the best experiences ive had.

    Amazing day trip. Worth every penny. We loved it, and bought the video and pictures that they did. They provide drinks and lunch as well. There’s a sofa and banana boat at the end you can go on.

    I would not recommend this tour to my worst enemy because no wetsuits were provided for a snorkeling activity in water that was 17-18 degrees Celsius according to the guide. It may have been colder. Additionally, the snorkels were of bad quality, just holes and the water kept getting inside, but I could have dealt with that if we had a full set of snorkel equipment. He said because that was warmer than the air, the water would feel warm. Really?! I have snorkeled in first and third world counties before, in very warm and very cold conditions, and ALWAYS been offered a wetsuit. Furthermore, the “instructor” was wearing a 5mm wetsuit with hood and afterward complained about how cold he was all the while telling us “You do not need a wetsuit snorkelling, only scuba diving.” He also said “It’s your problem if you are cold” and “I am cold because I am from a warmer country than you.” He then proceeded to deny our concerns. My boyfriend tried to nicely suggest that they get wetsuits for future tours, and they were very rude about that. There were also several other problems with the “El Mansour” boat and crew. They kept telling us about how we did not get to see dolphins because of the weather, but we never complained about this. Perhaps they should not write that the chance of seeing dolphins is 90% when it is actually less than 10%, but we never complained about this. Other boats do actually see dolphins every day, so they were lying to us. They took a €5 or 100EGP fee to enter a dolphin reserve in cash. The tour description says €3, plus we NEVER entered anything where there was a fee to pay. Meanwhile, other boats do not change this as it is included. We didn’t complain about the staff blasting music and rocking the boat (induces seasickness) for fun at 9 am when the rest of us were resting. We didn’t complain about the food. I honestly had no expectations except to be given snorkel equipment, which in cold temperatures includes a wetsuit. It actually includes a wetsuit in any temperatures, at least the option of one. I truly think a child, who could drop their body temperature quicker than an adult, could be in a life-threatening environment on this trip. I would also like to mention that someone dislocated their shoulder 3 times (repeated dislocation) on this trip and they recommended getting some cream from the pharmacy. They had NO emergency action plan on open water or on land. They parent company does have better boats and did offer us a second day trip. After this awful experience, we didn’t want to do it, but our friend did and said it was good. However, I do not recommend booking through here as it is a crapshoot what kind of tour you will get. Find a good boat, and book directly through them.

    Pickup was on time and comfortable. Arrived at boat in good time. Breakfast was served, we didn't know Breakfast was provided so had a box breakfast from hotel. Boat crew very friendly and saw and swam near the dolphins which were amazing! Delicious lunch served and a good snorkel stop. Great day all round, although didnt get the banana boat option?

    We booked this experience before arriving in Egypt, and found on arrival that we had to pay €10 pp extra for transfers from our resort at Soma Bay, which wasn’t a problem. See below for comments on the transfers. We were impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the crew and staff on the well-equipped boat, catering for all ages and snorkelling abilities. We were pleased to see the dolphins in the wild at the “dolphin house”, where some passengers swam, and the snorkelling experience on the coral reefs was rewarding. Plenty of time was allowed for swim among the beautiful fish or just relaxing on the boat, with no pressure to do either! Lunch was surprisingly good, with a well prepared, tasty spread, and the more energetic guests entertained us by enjoying the fun on the sofa and banana boat at the end. The transfer was spoiled by having to wait for an uncommunicative Middle Eastern family, who kept us waiting on the return as well, and the time-wasting no show at another resort. Don’t expect adherence to traffic rules like seat belt use, mobile phones and speed limits, either!

    Great value trip, some really good snorkelling sites. Dolphins swimming is weather permitting but to be expected in February. Food is excellent and the crew are very accommodating and good fun. Would recommend.

    There were strong waves and wind so I had sea sick. 1. My son and I could not see the dolphins. 2. The staff refused my son to swim with the dolphins because of the safty concerns. ◎ 3. They refused Even 3 minutes swim with dolphs under their protection. ◎ 4. They asked extra money for the pictures about 20 dollars for my son and me. 5. I was vomitting severely and the boat shook hard so I lay down all the time. 6. No fun no picture of cause. But they asked me money for the pictures. 7. The food was not good, so we threw out the food. ◎ 8. After the snorkel they asked us tips. ★ 9. That is funny they asked tips cause I was vomitting and was lying all the time except the snorkeling for 10 minutes. 10. I was busy caring my son cause he had hypothermy which is strong coldness of his body. 11. My son could not see the underwater creatures cause the goggles were not fit on him. My son's goggles were easily blurred. ◎ 12. I also could not find any decent goggles. In that regard they said chinese products are always no guarantee. 13. Other people who got strong guidence from the staffs swam well with dolphs and enjoyed snorkeling well. 14. My son and I are veteran swimmers in the pool. ☆ If you choose this tour, you need to know this information in advance.

    Nice day with dolphins, snorkeling, food, drinks and a lot of sun! Picked up and driven home to the hotel, funny and very helpful crew, both inside and outside of the water.

    Staff was super friendly and so fun! Started the day with a snorkling area witch was lovely, then the DOLPHINS 😁😍 was a amazing experience to swimm with the dolphins on your side! Banana boat or the mattress included, was super fun! Liked how the staff cared about the nature and the dolphins. Lunch was great and staff was professional, even gave all a breifing, made you feel safe to be in their hands. So recommended!! Thank u Omar and Imad for the nice pictures and lots of laugh.

    Nice staff and great experience to be able to swim with dolphins into the wild! Reefs to snorkel where nice too. Food was fine, overall good value for money, would do it again. :)

    We booked this tour last minute based on the reviews and the prices and we have not been disappointed. The staff is really friendly but at the same time very professionnal and really focused on safety. The snorkeling sessions were nice and we had the chance to see nice fishes and corals. We also had the amazing chance to see dolphins but unfortunately we couldn't swim with them as the sea was a bit too rough for that. Only small point of attention : the buffet is nice but the chicken and fish were cold so we didn't really dare to eat from it. Overall we had a wonderful day and for the price we can only recommend people to book this tour.

    Great trip; Picked up early morning from the Hotel and we were brought to a (small) harbor at Hurghada North (where you could get your snorkeling gear). Were we boarded. Not to crowdy on Board (with nice shaded siting and more open lay down areas – that for those sun lovers-). All was clean & well taken care of. Water; coffee and soft drinks were included. Went to ‘Dolphin house’ area; were we had 3 dives to the Dolphins; which swimmed right under us. Then we went to the first snorkeling location (north of Big Giftun Island); where we had our first and excellent (and well guided) snorkeling opportunity. About an hour later we went to the second snorkeling location (bit more south). Where we first had a very nice lunch and after our (again) guided snorkeling opportunity (although I went for more ‘free’ snorkeling; which took me more away from the group). More than a hour later we went back to the small harbor and for those who wanted you could to a banana ride (or on a kind of air-matrass). After that (already late in the afternoon) we were taken back to the hotel. We did not bough the video/picture CD/DVD. Although the price was reasonable and they did really there best to record you as best as possible. But I had my own action cam and I managed to take great pictures and videos of my own. Very nice trip. Excellent price quality rate (when booked by Tripadvisor); really recommendable!

    Swimming with Dolphins they say ! Well we swan with them numerous times Evening had the pleasure of watching them make babies We also saw some great fish on the coral even Nemo!!! The crew are so friendly and very helpful , the camera team are awesome too . Mad max is a funny guy , your never forget him . He is also the life guard on the boat and he gains your confidence . Hes fantastic with the kids , and hes very reassuring if your not confident or a strong swimmer . This trips is a must do And to end the day off , you get to go on the banana boat or the sofa Food is awesome too and plenty of it plenty of drinks to keep u hydrated to Great crew , brilliant food , awesome day 10/10 !!! Cant understand the negative reviews

    It was very nice, the pcik up was very puntual, the guys on the boat were very nice also, they did their best to see dolphins and finally we saw some! After we have a tasty lunch and two stops for snorkel. Totally recomended!

    This was an amazing day out, we swam with dolphins although I would not recommend the dolphin swim to weak swimmers. The other snorkeling was fantastic and more than suitable for weak swimmers as there are buoyancy aids available. There is so much to see you don't want to leave the water. The staff were friendly and kept the kids 15 and 11 entertained all day. Thanks for a great day Shark!!!

    Good and fast contact. everything AS written in the Tour description. AT the first snorkeling stop the Times was a little to short. Friendly and nice Crew on the boat. So it was also nice for our children (5-7) AT the End a little to long for them. Thanks

    Very nice experience, which we enjoyed a lot! We saw a lot of dolphins, nice corals and had fun during the whole trip. The trip sitters are nice and funny, maybe a little bit too touchy for some girls. And please do yourself a favour and do NOT buy the pictures! You don't get what you pay for and way too much!!!! Nevertheless it was fun!

    Bel pomeriggio, perfetta escursione da fare con i bambini. Soprattutto in questo periodo dove il vento soffia forte e non è così piacevole uscire dall acqua. Prezzo molto conveniente rispetto a quanto ci avevano chiesto al resort per la stessa esperienza.

    habe den Ausflug jetzt schon 2 mal gemacht und es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis, das essen auf dem Boot ist gut und die Crew ist mega nett und steht für alle Fragen bereit und helfen wo sie können einfach ein unvergessliches Erlebnis,und sie sind auch alle sehr kinder lieb kann jedem nur empfehlen hier zu buch und nicht im hotel preis Leistung einfach top LG aus Deutschland ich komme im Mai wieder und mach die Tour dann zum dritten mal

    Die Tour war mega schön wir hatten das Glück Delphine zu sehen und die schnorchelstops sind auch sehr schön die Crew an Board des Schiffes kümmert sich sehr gut um ihre Gästeegsl ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschritten jeder wird sich gut aufgehoben fühlen, das Preisleistungsverhältniss von Book to Egypt ist unschlagbar und wir haben viele Preise vor Ort verglichen (wir haben erst in Ägypten gebucht nachdem wir 2 Tage da waren) die Kontaktaufnahme zur Argentur war absolut Problemlos und wir haben uns immer sehr gut informiert und beraten gefühlt! Die Kontaktaufnahme erfolgte sofort über WhatsApp und jegliche Fragen oder Anliegen wurden sofort beantwortet! Auch für Leute die nicht so gut Englisch sprechen können ist es kein Problem da die Kontaktaufnahme sowohl in Englisch als auch in Deutsch erfolgt...im Endeffekt haben wir 3 Ausflüge gebucht (Quadtour, Schnorcheltour, und Aquapark) wir würden immer wieder dort buchen und waren rundum glücklich vielen dank nochmal an Book to Egypt
