Hop on hop off is excellently planned. Drivers were helpful and friendly. I would recommend Red Buses Hop on Hop off without hesitation.

Really good bus excursion, good route's very easy to get on at the port.
only problem was one stop was shifted and we had difficulty locating where it was.
No problem as city very easy to walk around.

Easy way to see the city when you have limited time, and takes you to all the popular locations. Pickup at the cruise terminal is very convenient for cruisers.Tour is in many languages, and has wifi.

We felt that we got the best value on this trip, as the weather was very cold and wet!
Because of this we only got of once at the Tovoli Gardens, then back on the next bus to complete the circuit in the comfort of the bus!

Our family had a good time with Red Buses in Copenhagen. They have 3 bus routes and a hop-on hop-off boat route that you can use to see the sites, depending on the ticket your purchase. We stayed mostly to the main route due to time constraints as we had to get back to our cruise ship. The bus was at the port when we arrived. We did sit on the bus for about 45 mins or so until there were enough people to start, but that wasn't a huge deal due to the routes not really opening until 9am. The company did offer a walking tour as well, at 2 and 4pm. We did the 2pm tour and my family was the only one on the tour, which turned out to be a great little tour of part of the city. To the company, I would suggest possibly moving one or both of these walking tours up to suit the cruise schedules better, if that is at all possible. My only complaint was that we almost missed our ship due to not being told to be at the Little Mermaid stop by 4pm. We actually were there at 4, but the other bus that transferred people back to the ship had already left it was a bus that made the loop back to the ships docked further away throughout the day. Luckily, the driver of the bus that brought us to the Little Mermaid was able to coordinate for the bus to come pick us back up and we made it to our ship 10 minutes before it left. So, I thank the drivers for making it work, but we were never told the last bus back was at 4pm, so the communicating that would have been ideal. But overall, the day was very nice and we had a great time exploring Copenhagen.

I travel with a scooter. I was impressed that your buses have a ramp so it made easy getting my scooter on and off the bus very easy. Copenhagen is a beautiful city and your Auditory description on the tour was good.

Bus did not appear at the ship stop until after 10.30. We walked to see the little mermaid and finally caught a bus there. It's quite confusing as there are 2 red hop on hop off red buses but different names. City sightseeing seemed to have a lot more buses. You also have to make sure when your in the centre of the city you get on the correct line. There are 3 but a good way to get around as long as you realise all of the above

Buses didn't provide much information, headsets, how to use etc. Free walking tour well hidden in brochure and when we walked up to starting point, guide was ready to go. Only 1 or 2 per day, but we were lucky. NO information on starting times and location. Could be a lot better. Walking tour was great, however.

Our group can't really complain about this tour. We did not allow enough time to experience Copenhagen before getting to our cruise ship. Also, the weather was a little cool and that may have led to us aborting sooner than we had expected. The bus was fine and so was the driver, but we generally didn't think the route driven in Copenhagen did much to make the city seem great.....nor bad, either.

It was wonderful to get this bus on the pier. However during the day, some incident affected the buses and led to extreme wait times. When buses did arrive all those waiting were unable to board. Nearby company reps were less than helpful

We thought it would help to reserve this before getting to Copenhagen. NO NEED!!! We had a very difficult time finding the red bus stopping points. There are so many different bus lines. It would of been easier to just wait and get the tickets. In fact, we ended up purchasing new tickets because of the inconvenience.

If it were possible to give this tour NO STARS I would do so. The tour offered by the RED BUSES route is nothing more than an expensive hotel shuttle. The bus as advertised picked us up yards from the ship. In fact there are 2 companies offering a Hop-on Hop-off tour, the one offered by Viator which is the Red Buses trip subject of this review and the city sightseeing company which seems more genuine according to fellow travellers. We got unto the Viator Red Buses bus which from the start seemed rather amateurish. The conductress failed to issue any headphones or map. When this was queried the driver announced we should tune into the tour commentary. This was banal and uninformative at best and ignores any information about sites we passed rather rapidly it must be said in favour of sparse comments about how many Danes cycle to work, the Danish Gender pay gap and similar generic social statistics. In between these sparse comments was an electronic music track which was loud and repetitive. The driver seemed more interested in stopping at hotels to pick up more unlucky punters than visiting the sites of Copenhagen. Finally my wife and I could take it no longer and alighted from the bus and explored what is a compact town on foot with more luck and interest. The final insult was a failure by this company to provide an adequate return shuttle to the ship. Outbound had been a double deck bus every 30 minutes, return was a single decker every hour. The maths are self explanatory resulting in long bad tempered queues and exasperated guests. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TOUR. VIATOR GET ANOTHER TOUR PROVIDER.

Since there're two ports sort of close to each other, it was confusing not for us but for the drivers. We asked them which one we were supposed to take since they were just identical buses, drivers acted careless and send us in the wrong bus. When we got to the wrong port it was one of the workers there who told us exactly what to do while the driver looked and acted annoyed. Will Not Ever book a tour with this company again. Yelp, here we come!

The buses are so crowded we could not find a decent spot. Our aim was to stay on the bus, see what's available and then hop om and off. It was a disaster. We could see nothing, the commentary was woefully inadequate and all in all, it was a waste of our money. Still, I am glad we went on the tour, because now we know never, ever to use this company, anywhere we go.
