Hop-on to the Mermaid Tour at the Gammel Strand. Along this tour, passengers can hop-off at any of the 16 tour stops or stay on the tour for a full loop, taking roughly 80 minutes! Along this loop, you can hop-off at famous landmarks including Rosenburg Castle, which boasts a beautiful architecture and decades of royal history. Also along this route is the Amalienborg Palace, where the Royal Danish Family lives, and is another of Copenhagen’s most fascinating architectures. One of the city’s most famous monuments, the Little Mermaid statue, created by Edvard Erikson is another popular sight along the route that you can enjoy panoramic views of from the top of the bus! Hop-off and visit the National Museum of Denmark to really explore the city’s interesting history and admire the sights of City Hall Square once you’re finished!

Passengers can continue their adventure along the Christiania Tour, hop-on at the Gammel Strand and enjoy exploring more key sights including Islands Brygge, a stunning harbour, and several fun attractions such as the Copenhagen Zoo and Fisketorvet, an amazing shopping mall. There’s another 9 tour stops along the Christiania Line, and a full loop takes roughly 45 minutes.

Last but certainly not least, hop on to the Carlsberg Route which begins at the Radisson Royal Hotel, and enjoy tourist hotpots such as Frederiksberg Garden and Vesterbro Square! The Visit Carlsberg is an unmissable experience and one of Copenhagen’s most popular tourist attractions, hop-off here to explore this historic brewery which was founded by J.C Jacobsen in 1847! This route takes around 30 minutes, or you can hop-on and off at any of the 6 tour stops.

    This was our first experience ever doing a hop-on hop-off tour and unfortunately we did it near the end of our time in Copenhagen. It is MUCH better to do something like this near the beginning of your trip so you have an idea of what attractions you'd like to see again before you leave. The speaker tour guide was clear and we learned a lot about the city's sights. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

    Great way of seeing the city. Shuttle from the cruise port to the Little Mermaid included. Potential wait for the return shuttle so don't leave it too late if you are on a cruise. Stops at all the popular attractions.

    We booked online, expecting to be able to access more than one route, however as it had become low season, only one was in use. As compensation, we were given tickets for the waterways tour. We were more than happy with this. The commentaries on the bus were good and the views from the boat excellent. We were able to nudge under the bridges, a few hours earlier the tide would have made this impossible.

    This was perfect. Buses on time, stopped at every attraction. Drivers very nice and allowed 10 min to take pictures of the mermaid while he had a break which saved time between buses.

    We booked City Sightseeing Hop-on-Off HOHO for ports of call in Alesund, Oslo, Flam and Copenhagen. Buses err located pierside where our Holland America ship docked. Vouchers were easily exchanged for the HOHO ticket and ear bugs. Buses were clean and audio narratives were available in multi languages. In major cities, bus frequency was every 15-minutes in Alesund and Flam, buns intervals were 30-minutes apart. Great value for touring each city to see the main highlights while listening to recorded overview of local history and culture. Out Viator price booked and paid online prior to departure was cheaper than HOHO price offered by cruise ship excursion department. Highly recommend these HOHO tours.
