I love, love, love the City Sightseeing buses! I used them on my last trip to Prague, Budapest, Amsterdam, Paris, and Edinburgh. It made so much sense to get the layout of the city and be able to get off and back on whenever. In each city I took the tour full circle and then planned my stops according to the places I most wanted to visit. Prague is an amazing city! The tour buses have multiple language channels so you never miss anything. Best strategy EVER for visiting a new city!!

As with most hop on hop off buses fantastic, just remember you can go all the way up the castle by bus just need to change bus and hop on the red bus at the 3rd stop beats walking unless you feel energetic

Two separate lines covered all the important venues. Thomas at the Castle was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. His command of historic and current events was excellent! The river cruise was so relaxing and enjoyable, with great beverage and food service. I highly recommend this company from all the choices available.

The Hop-On Hop-Off Bus was a great way to get an initial overview of the city and then go back to the spots that were of interest. Best of all was our tour of the castle and our excellent guide, Tomash, who had an amazing understanding of the history and knowledge of the country and was a delight to listen to. This tour and his input were the highlight of our Prague visit.

The Prague castle and church are amazing. We climbed 287steps up to the clock tower and saw the tremendous city view. Our castle tour guide is very knowledgeable. It helps us to understand medieval history better. We also had a wonderful Czeh food and monk beer by the monestery.

An extremely professional company, great commentaries on both routes, friendly and helpful staff.
We didn't do the walking tour which is from the first to the second stop. The second stop was difficult to locate and needs better signage as it is past the train station at the end of the road as it bends around to the left. We were pleased we caught the first bus of the day on the Red Route as when we came back to stop 2, there were a lot of people waiting to board the bus. Lots of great sites and well run bus company. The river cruise was lovely and really worth seeing and we also elected to do the Jewish Quarter tour which was very interesting. We didn't do the Castle as part of the ticket as it is accessible by public transport and really needs at least half a day. -

This was a good way to get an overview but not too in depth of the castle. The option is to explore on your own after or come back. Our tour guide was passionate and a native of Czech Republic. He was very entertaining and listening to him was easy as he gaged the attention span of the group and would keep us interested. The overview was something I would recommend to someone who has other things planned for the day or not into too much information. Our guide gave a recommendation for lunch which was spot on as it was a true Prague restaurant and food which had history and ambience. The name was Cafe Imperial and the chef is well known in the culinary world. Price of the restaurant to me was reasonable 2000 krona 85 dollars for three people and this was soup to dessert.
The Hop-On-Hop-Off also included a boat tour which was relaxing and gave a view from the water which to me is great. I always do this type of tour in any city I visit and would recommend for the money to do it. -
