Private Tour: Nature Park Ötscher-Tormäuer

 

The Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park is the largest nature park in Lower Austria with a surface of 170 km2 (66 mi2). The reserve is characterised by pristine, untamed landscapes as well as areas that have been cultivated for centuries. The most formative element of the landscape is the Ötscher mountain with a height of 1.893 meters (6.211 feet). The hike follows the trail through the so called “Hintere Tormäuer” of the Nature Park Ötscher-Tormäuer. This extension of the Ötschergräben is less frequented, but equally beautiful and easier to walk.
